Naruto Shippuuden Episode 122 - The Hunt (pictures and summary)
Naruto, Sakura, Sai and Yamato, Kakashi, Kiba, Hinata and Shino, and the ninja hounds went off to find Sasuke or Itachi.
Two ninja hounds were assigned to each of Sakura, Sai, and Shino. Kakashi had one ninja hound that is Pakkun while Kiba with his dog Akamaru. Naruto went along with Yamato, Hinata and kakashi’s biggest ninja hound. Hence, 6 teams in different directions.
While Sasuke, Karin, Suijetsu, and Jugo each also went in different directions to find Itachi.
As each of the teams were searching for Itachi or Sasuke, some of the teams had few encounters with enemies.
Kabuto wearing a hood appeared in front of Naruto, Yamato and Hinata in a forest. He said he wanted to give Naruto a present as a sign of his gratitude. Kabuto’s present was a book of all details regarding the Akatsuki. Kabuto took off his hood. One side of his face and body seemed to have been taken over by Orochimaru’s life force. His skin appeared white similar to Orochimaru’s white snake skin and his eyes similar to Orochimaru’s snake eyes.
On the other hand, Sakura with her two ninja hounds crossed roads with Karin in a village. Apparently, one of Sakura’s ninja hound sensed Sasuke’s scent only it wasn’t Sasuke that was close to them but Karin. Sasuke’s scent might have attached unto Karin’s body.
Two Akatsuki members, Deidara and Tobi found Sasuke alone. Deidara attacked Sasuke with his bomb but failed as Sasuke used one of his serpents to cover him.
Soon, a battle between Deidara and Sasuke will take place in the middle of the forest.
