Michael Jackson, a global icon, born  on August 29, 1958 and died on June 25, 2009, earned it as his famous "on his toe" move is on Google’s Homepage Logo today August 29, 2009.

Saying Michael Jackson as a global person is not an exaggeration. In fact, he was and is the perfect example of a global person.

How "popular, influential, and so on" Michael Jackson was? was every politician’s question. Why do someone like Michael Jackson have one of the most worldwide coverage of his memorial? Well, you can only ask the rest of the world. This way you will understand why his death is as important as Obama’s inaugural speech for there won’t even be an Obama if there wasn’t a Michael Jackson who broke all racial barriers in music and therefore broke it in social and political aspect.

This is Google’s way to honor the King of Music, King of Entertainment and the Greatest Entertainer and Performer the world has ever known.

For that reason, Michael Jackson wasn’t only the King of Pop, he was the King of Music as every music royalties stood up to honor his presence in every place around the world.

But more than an artist, he was one of the greatest humanitarian around the world who poured his heart out and spent his short lifetime to meet people of every nationality and heal the world. "Heal the world" and "We are the World" are his songs and the world’s anthems. There is no doubt that he had the most caring heart the world has.

Most of all, he was the artist who genuinely loved and admired his fans.
