Entertainment during the eighties is described as the "Golden Years of Entertainment" because of various reasons. Music primarily those days was at its peak. People were more open-minded to welcome changes and embraced the essence of originality and creativeness in every art including clothing and fashion.
Music was the most influential aspect of entertainment at those times. And yes, fashion was influenced by music. The music artists of those days, most especially, Michael Jackson for men influenced fashion trends. Up until now, the 80s fashion style still lives on and adored by fashion lovers.
Sexiness was onced used only to describe women but during the 80s, male artists redefined "sexy fashion" for men.
Leather jacket, leather pants, tight pants, colored pants, buckle-designed pants, hats, buckles, Ray Ban sunglasses, even skinny jeans for men and more. The 80s fashion style also introduced funkiness in formal outfits such as putting funkiness in tuxedos by folding its’ sleeves up to the elbow(not the usual way tuxedos were worn). Specifically, Michael Jackson, who seem to know how to pull out the sexiness aspect of every outfit.
What are the real factors into creating a clothing for men:
1.fabric (could be as hard as leather and as soft as silk)
2. size (tight or loose)
3. colors (black, white, red, or shocking bright colors)
4.last but not least, the wearer’s personality, aura and confidence.
